[PROBABLY FALSE RUMOR] Buffy Lives?

Well, I'm not going to enter too deep into this discussion, b/c I KNOW what's happening with regards to Buffy's character and the potential slayers. (I had a moment of weakness and hit the Spoilers page)

If anyone wants the address, e-mail me. I'm not going to post it b/c I don't want anyone else 'accidentally' clicking it and 'accidentally' reading it, and then having it spoiled for them unless they WANT it and ask for it.

All I can say is that I doubt she'll be the 'new buffy' for MANY reasons. Numero Uno being (No spoiler) That I doubt Joss would, after 6 years, bring in another actress just for a crossover. If he wants a crossover, he'll probably try to get SMG when she's not too busy. He's changed show ideas before b/c a particular guest character couldn't come on, so I doubt he'ld change the character/Actress now.

In Other news, I really do hope Dawn sticks around. She's so.... mmmm... dawn...

Too bad? Does that mean good or "so-so." Was she just eye candy or did she bring a presence to the show (besides looking good)? SMG won a daytime Emmy. Does Ms. Valance have that kind of potential or range? I'm not trying to be facetious, here. I am honestly interested.

The closest we'll ever have SMG do a lesbian scene is that movie with Selma Blair, Reese Witherspoon, and Ryan Philippe. What's it called, Temptation?

It was called Cruel Intentions, and it was a modern remake of Dangerous Liaisons.

Fair enough.

I'm just of the mindset right now that Angel will be the only Mutant Enemy show on the air to start the fall season. I want to see more of the Buffyverse but I want Joss to get it right and if that takes time then he should take it. I'm not completely against another actress playing Buffy but she would have to be perfect to pull it off. After 7 years on the air it would be like having another actor play Picard or Kirk in a Trek film or someone else playing Mulder or Scully in an X-Files film or spinoff.

I'd be stunned if this were true. Fortunately, it almost certainly isn't - it reeks of idiotic net-spread rumor. I trust Whedon enough to feel confident he wouldn't allow such a stupid, stupid thing to be done.

A new slayer show with a new lead character would be okay, though - I would at least check it out.

Given the history of the show I'd think it would be logical to have a new Slayer in the Slayer line replacing Faith, and keep SMG around to make Buffy guest appearances.

Holly's family originates from Yugoslavia but she was born in New Zealand and then moved to Australia. Her mum was the one that suggested acting and although Holly wasn't convinced she soon reaped the rewards. As well as modelling and TV ads, she now stars in music videos and Neighbours.


She is pretty hot. Wouldn't mind seeing her as a new slayer but it is probably an unfounded rumor.
