I'd like to see the return of Buck Rogers in the XXV Century **smack** Just kidding :p

Actually, the top of my list would include:
1. Hardback covering/updating Greyhawk
2. Hardback covering Free City of Greyhawk (like they did with Waterdeep)
3. Oriental Adventures 3.5...not tied to a specific setting
4. More environment books (in the spirit of Frostburn, Sandstorm, etc.)
5. Did I mention a Greyhawk hardback?

Update of Epic-level rules to 3.5. Please, for the love of all that's holy, please.

We were just discussing this in the D&D rules forum, actually.

Between the new DMG and the "Complete" class books, everything has been updated but the spell seeds, monsters, and items ... all of which are updated in the online SRD. Still, I can understand the desire to have it all collected in one book.

Taking this as "What would you like to see WotC do that they probably won't do of their own accord, and neither will anyone else?" (which is to say tha the lots of Eberron goodness I'll be snapping up is pretty much a given)

Two really long-term licensed projects, which would require getting licenses straightened out
- Launch a Harry Potter RPG concurrently with the paperback of the final Harry Potter book (this assumes Rowling's preventing one right now to avoid spoilers, rather than because she's got something against RPGs in her world)

- Launch a second edition of the Wheel of Time RPG concurrently with the paperback of the 12th and final Wheel of Time novel (because the first edition needs some work, even if it's got some great ideas, and there won't be spoiler problems)

I'll join the chorus asking for more Star Wars stuff, especially a KotOR-era sourcebook (ideally time this to launch with KotOR 3, if such a game is in the works).

Something between the 1-level Basic Game and the three core rulebooks, as a more complete introductory game.

That ultimate D&D computer aid that eTools was originally envisioned as? Build it.

Resurrect or create or license a setting for d20 Modern, and support it with 3 or 4 hardcovers a year.

Resurrect or create or license a setting for d20 Future, and support it with 3 or 4 hardcovers a year.

If WotC was too do this then I'd suggest that they either do a Epic Level 3.5 Boxed Set or design three Epic Level Hardbacks: An Epic PHB, an Epic DMG, and a Epic MM. This wouldn't be just an update but a complete overhaul of the Epic ruleset that clearly defines Epic-style play including interacting with deities on an Epic level and the concept of gaining immortality.

This is a must release for WotC and I don't understand why we haven't seen an updated version yet. The desire for this product by the gaming community is strong. And the update should be designed with Kara-Tur in mind. The actual Kara-Tur setting should be released as a Forgotten Realms hardcover.

I also vote for a updated v.3.5 version of the 2e Arabian Adventures sourcebook. Plus, WotC could release a Al-Qadim sourcebook for the Forgotten Realms. I'd buy both books in a heartbeat.

I also vote for a series of historical supplements that are constructed for a truly fantastic version of history. Half-orc gladiators in ancient Rome, dwarven samurai in fuedal Japan, halfling bushmen in Africa, illithid aztecs in Central America, and elven philosophers in ancient Greece.

Cheers!

Hi,

All said already, I think (except #4)

1. Expanded Oriental Adventures hardcover with Kara-Tur, not Rokugan
2. Al-Qadim/Arabian Adventures hardcover
3. Greyhawk setting book in hardcover
4. FR regional sourcebook covering Damara & Vaasa
5. Fey book in style of Draconomicon etc
6. Outsiders book, ditto, but with added Planescape flavour.

Cheers

Personally, I'e had about enough in the way of rules material. I'm more interested in stuff relating to campaign settings such as:

- Greyhawk hardcover. Use the maps from Dragon magazine and make it at least as comprehensive as the FRCS.

- Dark Sun hardcover but, please oh please, do it right!

- Spelljammer hardcover. Of course, this won't be a big seller so perhaps this one needs to be given out to a licensee.

- FR region books for the Dalelands, Cormyr (although I think this will be out next year) and the Western Heartlands/Sunset Vale/Sword Coast south of Waterdeep.

I think there's room for a mountain environment book, with volcanoes, hill country and expanded climbing rules (for all sorts of surfaces) included.

Oriental Adventures going back to an Honour system.

Infernal Hierarchy, with arch-devils, oinoloths and demon princes collected in a format and level of detail comparable to the recent Demonomicon articles in Dragon.

I'd rather not dilute my products by adding more campaign settings (Planescape, Dark Sun, et al) ... let 3rd party d20 publishers do that. I'd prefer they support the three settings they have. I'd like to see:

- The Greyhawk Gazetteer updated, containing all the Dragon and LG published information, published as a hardback
- FR sourcebooks on: Cormyr, the Dalelands, Western Heartlands/Sword Coast, and Sea of Fallen Stars/Vilhon Reach
- Monster sourcebooks for: Giants, Fey, and Goblinoids
- Environment sourcebook for swamps & jungles
- More adventures for all settings. How about a compilation of the "Best of" LG adventures, or a campaign book with all the "Green Regent" FR adventures?
