So I guess no overseas orders have arrived yet?

In Australia and it hasn't landed on my doorstep yet. I anticipate about a week wait for mine. I just hope that it travels ok after hearing how damaged some people's orders turned up. I can deal with a little bit of wear and tear since I plan on actually using it, not just collecting it.

Where are you from Jo and Michael?

Did everyone get a print copy of Night of Dissolution with the Ptolus book? I thought that was one of the preorder bonuses but no-one has mentioned it so far.

Yeah, it's in there (in mine, anyways). Haven't even really looked at it yet. :)

I figured as much. I can understand everyone being more interested in the 600+ page hardcover beast rather than the little skimply 96 page softcover.

Yes and yes. I got Night of Dissolution in the same box with Ptolus, but I'm too wrapped up in the setting to read it. [sblock]I flipped through it and it's black and white. It's about, you guessed it, the "night of dissolution," the return of the Vallis Moon, and with it, the soul of the world, and the Galchutt's chance to destroy the world.[/sblock]

Mine came with the Night of Dissolution book as well. There was also a manila folder with the CD, a map, and a bunch of printed handouts and inserts (all included on the CD as well.

We also live in Adelaide! (Email: shrap007@aapt.net.au) I am planning on going to Infinity games tommorrow morning to buy 2 x GBD. We are also playing Age of Worms tommorrow night {I (Michael) DM and Jo (my Wife) plays a cleric}. I plan on using Ptolus as Greyhawk City in my Age of Worms campaign (My AOW campaign is set in Greyhawk). The maps and descriptions of Greyhawk I have seen do not live up to my expectations of a what a city such as Greyhawk should be. I am thus using Ptolus as the fabled Free City of Greyhawk. What are you (Olaf the Stout) planning on using Ptolus for?

Wow, that is wierd. I have seen a total of 3 other posters on this board from Adelaide in the 3 or so years that I have been visiting the EN World boards. 2 of them I came across for the first time today!

Forgive my ignorance but what is Infinity Games? Is it another gaming store? The only game store that I knew still existed in Adelaide was Game Quest. Also what is a GBD?

I am currently running a game set in Green Ronin's Freeport setting so I plan to use little bits and pieces from Ptolus over into my game. A lot of the advice on running an urban campaign will also be of great use to me.

Eventually I hope to run a complete campaign set in Ptolus (possibly using the Night of Dissolution and The Banewarrens adventure as a basis for it. When that will happen I don't know. Since we only play once a fortnight it takes a while to get through the adventures.
