Other than that, how was the play Mrs. Lincoln?

Hear me now and believe me later- the best thing about playing paladins is when you stop. :)

I just knew you wouldn't be able to resist when I mentioned paladins. My first thought was "when I post this, lowkey13 will have a field day with it".

Taking this with "the feels", I had to say Monk.

I don't think that'd be my long term preference, but that was the class that caught my eye the first time I flipped through the 5E PHB and I haven't had an opportunity to play one, yet. I usually GM and the one chance I had to actually play in a 5E game, they already had a Monk.

If you wanted something more durable, I'd probably say Ranger. I like Rangers.

A ranking list of my preference, should I get to play:
Ooh, I like that concept...

I'll go:

Tier 1: Preferred play choices
Warlord! ;) ...OK: Druid

Tier 2: Will happily play
Wizard

Tier 3: I suppose someone has to play it
Cleric, Bard, Warlock, Paladin, Rogue, Barbarian

Tier 4: Hold my nose
Fighter(EK/BM), Ranger, Sorcerer

Tier 5: Nah
Monk, Fighter(Champion)

Cleric for me. I get to bash things when I'm feeling simplistic and do spells when I'm feeling complex. Plus, I have at least one god on my side and that's always useful. Plus, the other guys try not to annoy me in case they ever need healing. Plus, I can tell NPCs to do what I want by telling them the gods demand it, whatever it is. Plus, some temples have quite good restaurants and I don't have to pay. Plus, I can talk like an old-fashioned bible and it soundeth authentic. Yea verily.

Now if I split each class into it's subclasses, that'd look a lot different.

Well, when in Rome... and because I'm bored...

Tier 1: Preferred play choices
Barbarian, Bard, Cleric, Druid, Fighter, Monk, Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Sorcerer, Warlock, Wizard

Tier 2: Will happily play
See above.

Tier 3: I suppose someone has to play it
Has to play it? Surely you mean gets to play it. It being anything.

Tier 4: Hold my nose
Hold my nose?!? Hold thy tongue.

Tier 5: Nah
Nah, you're right, nothing goes here.

Did I mention in my previous post it's been a long time since I've played a PC? I would play a thing and love it. :p
