Pushing Daisies - anybody watch?

Did anyone else watch Pushing Daisies last night? I thought it was fun. It felt a lot like a Tim Burton movie to me.

I got the same feel. It was an enjoyable show. The narration was very well done and a very good effect for the style.

It had very nice visuals, was interesting, and funny.

However, I thought it was trying a little too hard, being a little too clever. I think it was the voice-over narration mostly. I'm not sure it has the "substance" necessary to be a good show.

Like others, I'm unsure if it can sustain itself, but it's really awesome.

I liked it, but thought that it was overly-cutesy. I like my death-themed shows to have more of an edge to it.

Not too cutesy for me and I have a kitten for my icon . It was very morbid, but in a cool way. Every time he brings someone back there's a possibility that two will go. How creepy is that. Best show with a voiceover since wonder years.

I think they were smart getting the actor for the voiceover who narrates all of the Harry Potter audiobooks.

But it wasn't creepy...it was whimsical.
