my question is simple, Does the pyro feat from song & Silence stack with fire based spells?

I'm guessing since spells like fireball don't say they catch on fire it won't work. Hope i'm wrong though.

If the spell in question doesn't set them on fire, then no, it doesn't stack. The feat specifically states that it only applies when you set someone on fire. Although, it also applies when you set them on fire "by any means", including (alchemists fire).
