Question about double weapons

Can you take Monkey grip with a double weapon? Since, they both count as individual weapons for purposes of swinging them.

Assuming you are medium-size, you can only use Monkey Grip with one large weapon at a time, as far as I know.

A standard double-sword is considered two different weapons, a medium-size weapon and a small weapon, or one large weapon, meaning you could use Monkey Grip to wield it with one hand as a large weapon.

If a double-sword of greater size were considered to be two different weapons, one large weapon and one medium-size weapon, it would be a huge weapon, and you couldn't wield it at all, not even as a double weapon.

Hmm, so, I can only wield a Double bladed sword (platnium/platnium) 2d6+2/2d6+2 as the maximum sized double weapon. Ah, well.
