D&D 5E Question for folks who use D&D Beyond: How well does it work with the new rules?

Here's what mine looks like. This is for a 16th level (?) Horizon Walker. I can refer back to the main sheet for skill checks, HP, and saves, but everything else is here. This is an older one. These days, I'll have a 1-2 line summary for important spells as well.

I've been continually using DDB before, during, and after the introduction of the 2024 rules, and it's been no problem. And yeah, Maps is fairly basic, but definitely the easiest, most integrated VTT I've tried. By a country mile.
I agree it's pretty easy to use. One question I have though is I set up a campaign, my players created PCs under that campaign, and I created an encounter inside the map tool with the same campaign. After adding the PCs how do I invite them so they can access and interact with the encounter? Are they automatically invited once added to the encounter? Im currently on the 1-month free trial but I wouldn't think that would prevent me from using any features.

My primary use is the Encounter Builder as it makes running and tracking monsters much easier. The Players depend, but it mostly helps them and things go pretty quick.

Once you start the session there is a link you can give them. They can also go there by going to the campaign tab.

Once you set things up on your end, all the players have to do is click a link (looks like a sideways triangle) on their character sheets in Beyond.

I'm starting to figure things out. It seems that it's not as intuitive as I thought it would be. It still requires you to use the encounter builder and players have their PC sheet open. I find it odd that when assigning advantage/disadvantage is +5 or -5 and you have to end the combat to remove it from what I can tell.

Thanks. I figured it out a little while ago. We're playing tomorrow so we're going to test it out then.

You don’t need the Encounter Builder on Maps anymore. You can drop a monster token and add it to a tracker now in Maps.
