Question on the KoS Characters

Whee! Ok thanks all. I'm working up a character sheet template in Excel and couldn't figure that all out. Errors are now corrected and moving on to the next error I've coded...

If the Longsword is +3 Prof, then the ranger from DDXP is incorrect, because his Str (14 +2) with a longsword is a total +4 to hit implying a +2 prof from the longsword.

Sooo... what am I missing?

Yeah, something else seems strange too. Why is the Javelin only +6 attack?

I think we are seeing that wizards still are no good at pregen characters. Was their every a example character for classes and prc's that didn't have errors?

Well, the FAQ offers no help on the matter. I'm hoping a WotC employee will float in with enigmatic words of wisdom that address the issue... 'cause whenever they do that it's pretty co...err... rad.

Can't find that on the sheet anywhere. Healing Hands is on there though.

What about the KotS human wizard, his will is 15. Wis of 12 Cha of 10, even if humans get +1 to all defenses, and his class gives him a +2, that equals only 14, where does the other +1 come from?

I wonder whether they're purposely throwing us off, they're incompetent, or there's something in the rules they just haven't told us yet...

The defenses don't line up at all.

Take the halfling. His reflex and his AC are identical. He's wearing armor. The +1 racial reflex is also nowhere to be found.
