Question: Races of the Wild-Halfling Rogue Substitution Levels

Context, my good Moderatarrrrh. I was responding to someone who thought it odd that a halfling with a sling could do as much damage as a human with a greatsword.

Come to that, most 1st level rogues can do nearly as much damage with a sling as a human with a greatsword - 1d4+1d6 vs 2d6.
