Quick (heh heh) question about Quickdraw

Right, but in the event that the guy who's the hardest to hit isn't the closest one to you, I could see there being times when you'd want to shoot him first and just eat the AoO. If you hack down the weaker foe next to you first, then Quickdraw your bow, you're firing with a BAB five points less.

If you're a Peerless Archer (which if you recall the first post in this thread, was the character I had in mind when asking this), you wouldn't want to attack with the sword last because then you no longer threaten with your bow. So that leaves using the sword between your bow attacks.

OK. I guess if you really wanted to suck up the AoO, it could be well worth it, given the right circumstances. Nice thinkin' by the way. :)

Of course, if you're really cool, you use your second attack to stab the guy next to you with an arrow, then just fire it into the guy farther away. Damn Peter Jackson's a badass.

You can, of course, just use the bow to hit the guy beside you. He has made his AoO and if you are the archer type, you're surely better with the bow than with the sord.

You also could use the sword last and after that drop it and put the hand back to the bow.
