Quick item creation question

First Post
Somewhere in 3e, i remember reading that there was a feat where you can reduce the base price of magic items by 25%.

I can't seem to find it anymore, and was wondering if there was anything like that in 3.5?

While I am here, is there anything beside the basic creation feats that could help me make better, stronger, or cheaper magic items? (weapons and armor)

Are you a Divine or Arcane spell caster, Druid, Cleric, Wizard..ect?

Magical Artisan, in the FRCS. It only affects one item type, though.

There's an equivalent for psions in the PsiHB, Metacreative. That was later errataed to be totally pointless, however (it allowed you to make items with a manifester level of one less than the normal minimum psion manifester level for that power level).

I am kind of unclear about this- is it one item creation type as in rings/ staff/ rods/ weapons and armor/ wondrous items, or like exotic weapons, you choose one weapon and that is it? Because I am only hoping to deal with weapons. That should keep me in the red for the rest of my char life.

arcane- wizard

ftr/wz/bladesinger- caster lvl 6

will be 7 by the time I get the feat to make weapons

Then I would have to say do not forsake the power of a wand, take a spell like MM or Mage armor, you know one of thos common level one spells and make it into a wand (because its level one it will be reall cheap) then take all those strange spells that are really usefull but only at certin times (like feather fall, animate rope, silent image, jump i think/hope your get the idea) casting and memorize them instead. One of the greatest feats of a wiz is the range of spells you can cast but there are some that are to good and need to be used to often sapping up all your spell slots so put those ones in wands (even if you dont want to take craft wand, then at least by them)

Magical Artisan [General]
LC guide to FR, ver 2.0 page 9, Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting page 36
Prerequisite: Any Item Creation feat
Benefit: Each time you take this feat, choose one item creation feat you know. When determining your cost in XP and raw materials for creating an item with this feat, multiply the base price with 75%. This feat does not stack with Metacreative.
Special: You may take this feat multiple times. Each time you take this feat, its benefits apply to a different item creation feat.
