Quick Warlock Question

Well, we lacked a controller and there was already another Striker (Ranger). Not to mention, the encounter was 65% minions...

A Feylock can do reasonably well with Otherwind Stride. Up to 8 minions at a shot, if he's willing to be ganged up on. Otherwise you hang back and curse every minion you can see, then wade in with a Pact Blade and watch them pop.

The Eyes of the Vestige power that Vestige Pact Warlocks get allows you to curse another enemy if you hit.

You don't need to be ganged up on. Eladrin can pop in wherever, use the power, and pop out. Fey Switch to swap places with the party defender. Use your pact boon to place yourself.

One of the most fun characters I ever played was an Eladrin Feylock with Otherwind Stride and Fey Switch. Much fun.

I realize that. Even use it myself. The trick is trying to maximize the number of potential opponents hit though, which might require hanging around for a turn.
