even though a sorcerer casts sponteously can he still get the quicken spell feat?

i was reading it all it says that the spell cast spontenously the feat can not be applyed to it im just making sure. it sounds stupid to post this thread but i wanna know if im able to the automatic quicken spell as a epic feat

He can take it, he just has no use for it unless he has the Arcane Preparation feat.

My bad, you don't even need Arcane Prep for the Epic Feat. You can just take quicken spell and that's all. I don't see any limitation for classes that cast spontaneously.

And don't listen to Crothian, he's a bot that roams several boards to cause strife and general mayhem.

If you have Arcana Preparation, you can use Quicken Spell just fine. Also, by the book, you should be able to become a Mage of the Arcane Order. But that seems to make some DMs go "ngggh."
