Quicken has additional restrictions, in addition to the one spell slot rule.

I think it was "can't also cast a leveled spell" but that might be playtest wording.

Spells that can be combined with Quicken Spell for two leveled spells per turn.
Nope. Because Quickened Spell has its own restriction of not being able to cast another levelled spell period, regardless of whether it uses a spell slot.

But again, what does that mean for using a Quickened Spell with a Magic Item on the same turn?

Where is this limitation?

The 2024 Ruleset has altered wordings of things, of course. The new Quickened Spell description is thus: "Cost: 2 Sorcery Points | When you cast a spell that has a casting time of an action, you can spend 2 Sorcery Points to change the casting time to a Bonus Action for this casting. You can't modify a spell in this way if you've already cast a level 1+ spell on the current turn, nor can you cast a 1+ level spell on this turn after modifying a spell in this way."

Am I the only person in the world who cares that Magical Guidance was removed? That was soooo powerful, you basically got advantage on every important skillcheck you make. But I haven't seen a single guide or video even mention the fact that it's gone

Where is that taken from? I'm going off the RPGBot summary of 2024 changes that says:

"Quickened Spell. No functional change, but the text is extremely explicit that you still only get one leveled spell per turn."

The new rule mentioned.
If the summary is correct, then it was pointed out in another thread that using a Wand typically says the user can "expend X charges to cast the Y spell". So if you're casting a spell, the new Quickened limitation would kick in, and you can't do it.

However, other items, like Necklace of Fireballs, don't involve casting a spell, so might be combinable with a Quickened Spell.

Again, assuming those aspects of these items are unchanged. Hopefully the new DMG will add clarity.

EDIT: Thanks @IRolledStealth for posting the new Quickened Spell text

Now Wizard is “poor’s man sorcerer” 😂😂
Nope. Wizard is the ritual master (you don't even have to have spells prepared to cast them as rituals) and has a broader range of spells available than a sorcerer.

The sorcerer is the stronger combat class - but wizards still have more utility. If you're going to have two classes that are so near identical then this is as good a way to do it as any. Power vs flexibility.
