R1: Hired Hands (nimisgod judging)

Should the situation remain unchanged on Tor's next turn, he intends to take a 5' step to the east, which ought to allow him to threaten two enemies at once. He will slash at the more wounded of the two with his chain, and if he drops one he will make a cleave attack at the other.

((Won't make any rolls at this point, just posting general intention in case things get rolling while I'm not near the computer.))

EDIT: OOC: 1st round: Stand up(move action)-Pickup sheild(move action)[if that's possible]
2nd round: Draw weapon(move action)-Total Defense(standard action)[New AC=18]

I think his most recent post was intended to indicate he still intends to do the above.

Gideon draws a bead on the Gnoll in melee with Kerrz, his aim focused on a spot in the Gnoll's neck.

OOC: If Kerrz manages to connect with his strike, Gideon will shoot that Gnoll. Otherwise, he'll take a shot at Gnoll #2.

If he is in a Gnoll's threatened area, he'll take a 5' step first.

After he fires his shot, he'll reload.

To hit with the crossbow:

0 (BAB) +1 (Dex mod) + 20 (True Strike) + 1 (Inspire Courage) = 22

If he is firing into the melee with Kerrz, he'll take a -4 penalty to the shot, for a total of +18.

Damage is 1d8+1 (Inspire Courage)

ooc: Eek. There appears to be some confusion and I'm afraid it's my fault. Seems I switched IcyCool and LogicsFate in my mind when I made a previous post.
LogicsFate, you need to have a BAB of at least +1 to combine two move actions into one, so you won't be able to stand, ready your crossbow and cast your spell all this round.
That should've been for IcyCool/Gideon, not LogicsFate/Valan.

Here's the actions I have for those two characters for the first two rounds.

Valan: 1st round, stand and ready shield. 2nd round, draw sickle and employ Total Defense.
Gideon: 1st round, stand and ready crossbow. 2nd round, cast true strike.

If I have something wrong, please let me know.

Ah. Well, my intention was to stand, cast true strike, and fire. I'd rather not waste three rounds doing that.

I guess I'll Ready the crossbow, Cast True Strike on round 1, and Load & fire on Round 2.

Round 2

Ragnikyr continues playing his lute, inspiring his friends to courageous action.

Kerrz takes another swipe at the menacing gnoll facing him. Unfortunately the result is the same, as the gnoll easily sidesteps the blow.

Valan draws his sickle as he uses his shield to maximum effectiveness in blocking the gnoll's view of him.

The lead gnoll steps up and hacks at Kerrz with his battleaxe. This time the blow lands solidly on the fighter's chest, and Kerrz can feel blood trickling down his torso.

The gnoll on the right fires his bow at Gideon. A sudden flare from the campfire distracts him, however, and his arrow flies harmlessly into the night.

The gnoll on the left, seeing Tor approach with his chain, drops his bow, draws his axe, and takes a swing at the warrior. His eagerness causes him to rush his blow, however, and it whisles harmlessly through empty air.

Tor takes a step to his right to give his weapon more room and whips his spiked chain at his foe, but it doesn't quite go as planned. An unseen kink in the chain spoils the attack and causes the chain to flail harmlessly into the ground at Tor's feet.

Gideon loads a bolt in his crossbow, sits up and takes aim at the gnoll on the right. the sorcerer's magic makes the bolt fly true as it buries itself in the gnolls midsection.

[sblock]Kerrz attack: 7
Gnoll 3 attack: 20
Gnoll 3 damage: 5
Gnoll 2 attack: 3
Gnoll 1 attack: 7
Tor attack: 7
Gideon attack: 37
Gideon damage: 5[/sblock]

Valan winces as he glances at his wound, and solemnly estimates his chances. He snaps into action despite.

Spurred on by Tors predicament, Valan crosses his fingers, and rushes forward. Coming in low and fast with his sickle, he sacrifises stability in an attempt to sweep the gnoll off its feet.

OOC: Round 3: Charge to gnoll #1[Move action] Not interposing bettween it and tor , Trip attack[standard] touch attack +7, then str +6 vs str or dex, If tripped- free attack +5 vs prone gnoll-1d6+2+1(music), activating domain power [Luck-one reroll] at any point to help this course of action along. If trip is reversed, drop sickle. New AC=12

Kerrz grunts heavily at the axe wound to his chest, looking as if he can scare it away, but to no avail. Refocusing he turns back to the gnoll and does what he does best: swings the scimitar through the air, making the start of a whirring sound as the blade heads towards the gnoll.

Gideon stands, steps back, and reloads. He tries to focus as the Blood begins pumping through his veins. He staggers for a moment and manages to shake away his anger and disdain for the Gnolls. I'll not give in to it, no!

OOC: Stand up (move), 5ft. step back (to make sure I'm clear to reload) (free), reload (move).
