After the three are in their room, Gideon turns to them and quietly says, "Well, Tor seems convinced that these farmers have something to do with the bandits. I'm inclined to agree. What do the two of you think?"

Kerrz looks at Ragnikyr & Gideon. "I dunno about all of 'em, but that Dak kid was a little suspicious."

"Kid?" Gideon blinks, "I didn't see any kid." Gideon looks out the window trying to spot a kid and asks, "Could you describe him?"

Kerrz watches Gideon scanning the yard, "Dak was the one who brought us the stuff from the campsite. He followed us to the porch and looked like he was real interested in our conversation."

Gideon nods slowly, "Ah yes. I had hardly given the boy a second thought. What makes you think his behavior was suspicious and not just the curiosity of a child?"

"Hmm," says Ragnikyr. "He may or may not be suspicious. In the main, I think these are good people. I think Tor may occasionally err on the side of slaying them all and letting Pelor sort them out."

"On the other hand, all this cattle is going somewhere. It leads me to speculate that these bandits might be... feeding something. Something big."

"Of course, something big should be easier to find. In theory."

Cheers,
Roger

ooc: Wrong mythos. Also, can you recall Tor ever attacking anything first? He's more into "If I look really big and really dumb, maybe the bad guys will anounce themselves by attacking me... and then I can slay them all since they've sorted themselves out."

"Well, thus far we have found little evidence to lead us anywhere. Perhaps this boy Dak knows something. We should speak with him. Ragnikyr, you should do the talking, I'm just likely to ... frighten the boy." Gideon stands and heads for the door, "I don't think this task requires all of us, but I'm going to alert the others as to where we are going."
