"Indeed, we should have heard from him by now," says Ragnikyr.

I'll proceed off in the direction we last saw Tor, trying to catch a glimpse of him and generally acting sneaky. The rest of the party will follow along, I hope.

Cheers,
Roger

Tor: It is now midafternoon. Tor has seen nothing more than normal ranch work. Dak has moved around from the pen to the barn to the storage shed along with a few others. Horton starts shouting again, and several workers, including Dak, head off to the opposite side of the yard. Unfortunately the barn blocks Tor's view of the happenings.

Ragnikyr, Valan & Gideon: After two hours and no sign of Tor, Ragnikyr heads off in pursuit, Kerrz and the others reluctantly following behind. The group moves slowly, trying to keep an eye for, well, anything at this point. After an indeterminate amount of time you see a large crowd of something approaching the farm yard from the West.

Tor frowns. His attempts to signal to his friends apparently in vain, he starts to move slowly and as quietly as possible in their direction, hoping not to be seen.

While Ragnikyr & Kerrz intently watch the commotion to the West, Gideon and Valan notice their companion Tor, slowly moving in their direction from behind the barn to the East. The approaching horde soon resolves itself as a group of ranchhands bringing in a herd of cattle. With just about everyone's attention turned to the herd and the pen on the western side, now seems like a good time for the adventurers to regroup by Tor on the eastern side.

OOC: Sorry, I've been out sick for the last several days.

Gideon hustles over next to Tor and asks quietly, "What have you discovered?"

"There may be a disturbance around further that way, but I can't really tell. Might just be some work being done too slowly, getting the foreman upset. Dak is out and about, but he saw me following him, and seems to be keeping a low profile. If we need further evidence of his bad behavior, the fact that he has apparently not reported my following him is some."
