R2: Rats in a Maze [Manzanita judging]

ooc: So far your plans for the next day are 1) meet with Drezel, 2) check on the interrogation of the prisoners, and 3) go shopping. Who is going to do which and in what order are you doing them in?

We're going to stick together, so we're all doing each.

Check on the interrogation of the prisoners last. If we have two hours or more between dawn and the scheduled meeting with Drezel, we'll shop first.

If we can finish all three things before 4 PM, we'll hit the sewers after checking on the prisoners.

ooc: Well Drezel didn't say when he would come to the inn, just "sometime tomorrow" so if you want to do your shopping early in the morning you figure you should have time, provided you don't get distracted or sidetracked at the market...:]

OOC: Actually, Metrius said as we left, "Shall we await you at, say, 9am?" And also there was mention of a morning meeting. Drezel never actually agreed or disagreed, but I kind of assumed that the time was accepted.

ooc: Yes, Metrius did propose a 9 am meeting, but Drezel never agreed to that time. I apologize for being vague about that when the conversation took place. However if you wish to stay at the Inn to see if he shows up I'm not going to stop you.

Fimble McGee, Gnome Illusionist

OOC: Drezel may or may not be important, but we're not exactly pressed for time here, so I think we should wait for him as long as it takes. Hopefully the whole day won't be shot by the time he arrives.

ooc: So I think the plan for the original Drezel group to sit at one table while Tor and I sit at another. When Drezel shows, and what comes of that meeting will determine what we do next. If Drezel doesn't show by 4 p.m., we'll discuss options then. Sound good?

Next morning

Metrius, Fimble and Gideon sit around a table enjoying breakfast and talking idly about a variety of subjects while Tor and Babette do the same at a different table several yards away. The morning hours pass and the breakfast crowd thins as the sun climbs brightly into the sky. Lunchtime arrives and the dining room begins to fill up once again. At the height of the rush, just as the adventures begin to doubt whether or not the gnome is going to show up, Fimble spots Drezel as he darts in the front door. The antique dealer holds a worn hat in his hand as he scans the room. A small frown starts to form on his face when he finally spots the trio at a nearby table. He scurries over and nods to Fimble, keeping a wary eye on Gideon. Apparently he hasn't forgotten the brusque treatment from yesterday.

"Ahh, I'm glad to have found you. I think I have some news for you. Is it okay if I sit down? I'm not disturbing your lunch, am I?"
