Race Elimination - Dwarf vs. Eladrin!

I like both a lot. I guess, the only thing I don't like is the silly name for the _real_ elven race. They should have called them Sidhe.

I voted Eladrin for the same reason as before. I just don't find them all that interesting and Dwarves are just awesome.

Self-healing and immovable trumps the mini-teleport power. In 4e, it is the dwarves who say "you shall not pass!". The Eladrin are just a one trick pony that mess with the flavour of low magic settings.

Unfortunately, I also accidentally voted for the Dwarves, before I realized you were supposed to vote for the one you hate. In popularity contests you usually vote for the one you love.

This has been an anti-popularity contest from the start. It seems like more people have been confused this go-around, probably because it's down to the final 2. I'm hoping that Eladrin and Dwarf lovers will be equally confused.

Aside from being exceedingly beautiful in real life (snicker), I identify with the downright crazy and unhuman way of thinking that I associate with the fae. I'm not sure if that's actually part of the D&D fluff, because I may have co-opted some old Sidhe and also some of the Wilds from Exalted to flavor my Eladrin. Jhaelen's right, they should have just called them the Sidhe, especially given the previous edition's Eladrin.
