In terms of character a PC you could play,You want an Aasimar with the Celestial Bloodlines feat which leads to "Wings of the Outsider" Both those feats are listed in "Races of Farun"

If you're looking for a player race, try Avariels. They're like elves with wings.

Only that they aren't angelic in the least. They are elves (insert the usual "hauntingly beautiful to mortals, eh, humans", here), and have wings, but there any resemblance to angels ends. Unless, of course, you think of angels as arrogant bastards that pity us poor landbound creatures...

This is truth, KaeYoss, but in the post he asked for the race that "resembles" angels. I assumed he meant physically resembling the stereotypical winged-person angel; if not, then Gez has it right. Biblical angels are strange. Regarding the Elven outlook, I just wanted to say I still have that thing Gez wrote about Elves dreaming on my computer. Funny, funny stuff.

hay, a bash on the head makes the bad-guy just as dead as a stab to the heart. Plus brain-pizza is so much more fun. And anyway. blunt weapons are the only weapons that can be enchanted to be a disrupting weapon. Yay clerics!

anyway.... um sterotypical angel type. Messenger. hmmm. Trumpet archon works best. I think. if you look at the various real world holy books around, most herald-angels have trumpets etc. so mebbe trumpet archon.
