Are the Tso fundamentally different than Tsochari, the other race in Lords of Madness? The devouring and tricksiness of them makes them good slavers/party betrayers in my book. Maybe they could be giving Grells the food hookup?

Tsochari are a bit more of the "possessor" paradigm.

I suddenly have a desire to stat up Pai-Tso, a cannibalistic Neogi Ranger with a variant of the Zhent Slaver PrC. Give him favored enemy (humans, aberrations) and a vulnerability to cold effects. Place him in a mountainous, port city (Sharn?) and have him lair beneath the offices of a broadsheet company.

He'd have to have as minions a pair of advanced, intelligent Umber Hulks; one would be named Jahmsjakobs and the other would be a revenant named Fill who has a tendency to collect carriages and chariots from other countries.
