I've been looking over _Arcana Unearthed_ over the past few days, and I've seen a lot of stuff that I quite like -- along with, admittedly, some stuff that didn't appeal to me at all.
One of the interesting bits was the idea of "racial levels" for PC races, and it's gotten me thinking about doing something similar for baseline D&D. Letting an elven character take up to three levels in the Elf Racial Class, say, or a Gnome or a Halfling.
(I'm not sure about half-elves and half-orcs. Maybe let each take levels in their "fullblooded class", so a half-elf could take levels in Elf. Or maybe not let them take any racial class levels at all.)
But anyway. What I'm curious about is how other people would structure these classes. What should you get for taking two levels of "Halfling", anyway?
