Here is my final judgement:
THE LOST CITY OF THE WHORE QUEEN (Glassjaw) 15
> First things first. GlassJaw's entry is ineligible for victory because it wasn't truly random. And it's got a whore in it; unfair advantage. And also, I am pretty sure GlassJaw already has all the free swag from me he could possibly need, and certainly more than he probably wants.
THE CLOCKWORK TOWER OF CHAOS (Morpheus)* 15
> Tough call, but I have to DQ Morpheus as well. Rules are rules, and that little asterix by his name is because he didn't get his first entry in, and had to ask for a "Do Over." Would he have done as well with his original entry, "THE DRAGON KING'S DEATH?" We'll never know. Still, this strong showing should encourage him to enter again.
THE IRON TOWER OF THE SERPENT KING (Wystan) 14
THE ICE MINES OF THE WITCH KING (Asmor) 14
And so, these are the two grand-prize winners! "Grand Prize" means "Willing to actually drive to the post office to mail an actual book." So I'll be happy to send you two big winners anything you like from my in-stock print catalog, one hardcover or, say, 2-3 softcover books.
SHADOWS OF THE DIVINE CITADEL (Whizbang Dustyboots) 12
SIEGE ON THE SUNLESS PALACE (Rodrigo) 12
FEAST OF THE EBON CITY (Flynn) 9
THE TREASURE OF THE FROG SORCERER (Kaodi) 6
THE LOST RUINS OF DREAD (blargney) 5
And all of these guys (including Morpheus) will get a PDF of their choice just for entertaining us all. (I recommend Mythic Heroes, but anything goes.)
Claiming your prize requires you to email me, so I know what email address to send the complimentary copies to, and I will need your street address if you're a Grand Prize Winner.
So now that that is out of the way, when shall we play again and what would you change next time around?
