Yes, I've gone off the deep end. I've seen a lot of rap videos on MTV, and thought "what's the use of all the jewelry and stuff?" Probably no use at all. But in D&D, there just might be. Here are some rap video inspired magic items:

Pimp Cane
This is a walking cane made of precious metals with several diamonds attached.
The user can move at half the normal rate with a special movement mode called Pimp Swagger. While moving in this manner the user is protected as the spell Freedom of Movement and has a +10 competence bonus on Tumble checks. The user cannot run while Pimp Swaggering.
Gator Boots
These fine walking shoes are made of (possible dyed pink) alligator skin.
They have several beneficial effects on the user: The user can walk on water, sand, lava or any other unstable surface without sinking, gains +10 competence bonus on trip checks to avoid falling down and he never falls for the “your shoelaces are untied” – trick.

This is a pinky ring with a large diamond with the text “Pimp’s Up, Ho’s Down” engraved around the diamond in elvish script.
Users unarmed strike deals 1d6 subdual damage. Against females it has a +2 enhancement bonus and with a successful strike the user gains a free trip attack with +4 bonus to the trip check, without a chance of the user tripping on a failed check.

Four Finger Ring
This diamond-encrusted ring covers four fingers with a plate that has a single word, like “Pimp” or “Mack” engraved.
The users unarmed strike deals 1d6 damage with a +4 enhancement bonus. On a successful strike the target is affected as the spell Bestow Curse and the text is imprinted on a visible place on the targets body (usually face in the case of humanoids). When all the damage caused by the ring is healed, the text fades and the curse is lifted. Smaller rings also exist, with correspondingly smaller enhchantment bonus (+2 for two fingers, +3 for three)
