I voted in favor of dwarves and humans -- dwarves just because they're cool and humans because they're probably the strongest base race simply due to that bonus feat. Hell, in my group's first 3e campaign, everyone played a human. The bonus is really usefel, and the extra skill point is good for classes that make use of skills but have almost no skill points (like cleric).
I voted against Half-elf and Half-Orc. For all practical purposes, a half-elf is just a human who doesn't have a bonus feat and an extra skill point per level. The half-orc is just +2 Str and Darkvision, making it the second blandest base race.
Maybe they'll actually make half-elves and half-orcs interesting the revision, but I wouldn't count on it.
