Hey all,
I've recently started playing a warlock with the Raven Queen patron in a 5e D&D campaign. Her big thing is slaying sentient undead and its a major part of my characters background as well. The issue I'm having is that warlocks don't have a huge number of spells really geared towards slaying the undead, other than just spamming eldritch blast and killing them the same as anything else.
My question is, what can I do to tool a warlock for battling the undead? I have chill touch, but most undead have resistance to necrotic. I also have magic circle, but its casting time makes it very situational.
As it stands I'm:
Level 6
Drow
Raven Queen Patron
Pact of the tome (Cleric)
-Guidance
-Spare the Dying
-Mending
Magic Initiate (Sorcerer)
-Mage armour
-Mold Earth
-Message
Agonising Blast
Devil's Sight
Mask of Many Faces
In a party of three with two fighters.
So, going forward, are there any spells/invocations/feats etc I should be looking at in order to fill this role?
Also, please let me know if I've posted this in the wrong spot!
