Ravenloft

I only recently started playing D and D again and I have yet to see a 4E version of Ravenloft. Perhaps I have just missed it at my local retailers. Anyone know if its in the works?

I would expect a 4E Ravenloft eventually, but have not heard anything specific. They have converted Strahd.. and done a pretty decent job.

I do, vaguely, recall something about WoTC retaining the license.

It seems that all they are doing is articles in Dragon (some locations/realms and npc's) and I think there may have been a couple of adventures in Dungeon that may have been set in Ravenloft-esque locales. The locations are Ravenloft, but there doesn't seem to be a "Ravenloft" setting per se. Just locations that could be anywhere in your campaign, especially the Feywild. Whether or not they'll make a full blown Ravenloft Campaign Setting is open to conjecture. WotC has given no clue whether they will or not. (Check out this_thread for more about the future settings guessing game.)

Ravenloft appears to have been diced up and planted piecemeal in the Shadowfell. Which is not a bad place for it, frankly, especially considering the Ethereal Plane has disappeared.
