Darn it, I just bought the unpainted metal version of the ogre chieftain a couple of months ago, too -- haven't even opened the package!

I think this is an example of "walk before you run." People have been saying they want basic miniatures like this for a long time now, and Reaper is sort of giving them what they asked for. I'm actually very excited about the products, because I can use these miniatures for a lot of different things. It also gives me a chance to restock on minis for my Warhammer Quest game!Tumbler said:I'm torn. I am looking forward to giants, though. I always find them some of the most time consuming mini's to paint.

The next 2 sets of Legendary Encounters Releases will include Goblins, Zombies, A Gnoll, An Ettin, A Demoness, Kobolds, A Bathalian, Ghosts, A Succubus, and A Giant Worm. Would those be helpful?
