Hi all.
I am looking for a good low-level (as in 1st-3rd level) module for my campaign. I just voted on the "Best 1st ed. Modules" thread and said Village of Hommlett is my all-time favorite 1st ed. module because it has the following: (1) a well-detailed town with lots of characters and NPCs for the DM to play with, (2) a nearby mysterious dungeon with a great map and cool monsters/bad guys, and (3) intrigue and treachery in the town that is related to events in the dungeon and makes the town more than just a "rest stop" but a place for adventure in its own right.
So . . . ideally I'd be looking for something similar, although I am open to all suggestions, from any edition of D&D.
Can anyone recommend a good module? (BTW, my group has played Sunless Citadel, which is a great one, and Village of Hommlett, of course.)
Thanks for the suggestions!
