NP DF, I think he won't get far with that attitude and this group LOL. Wanted to ask about hero points and how do you cash them in to gain a level? Or would that even be a concern since we don't level up traditionally it may not be a boon to do so? Just wondering at first I want to meet a god but if Munsu is truly behind this than I don't want Torath questioning the others as to why they are letting him.

Whenever you want to, just tell me you're spending the Hero Points to get the boon, then wait for my reply. Here's an example.

ooc: I spend 3 Hero Points in order to gain a level.

ooc: go ahead and level up!

ooc: I spend 5 Hero Points in order to talk to a god. bring Munsu out for me.

With regards to the free level-up, I'd still calculate encounters by the average party level, meaning that free level would indeed be a boon. Conversely, I imagine it would be really fun to RP the interview with a god.

Hmm...you have to ask yourself though, is an item, any item, worth 3 levels?

3 levels is a LOT. It would mean crossing into Paragon Paths and Epic Destinies sooner. Stat bonuses. Attack bonuses. Powers.

I'm trying to think of an item that I would take over 3 levels, and...I have to admit, it's not easy. It would have to be a pretty spectacular item.

He said it would be akin to an artifact I do believe... something extremely powerful.... or at least I'd assume so for 3 levels worth of passing up on...

I'd like the levels yes.. but I've wanted to see what I would get for it... perhaps an item from Blackmoor himself I don't know... more than likely it would have to be custom made....
