Red Dragon of Krynn model

First Post
I just got this Official Red Dragon Of Krynn model off Ebay for 51 bucks. Very cool fig and huge to boot: 24” long and 16” high wings. My Dungeons and Dragons players will soil themselves when this thing hits the battle mat. It is sitting in a back office at my job right now. {Romeoville public library} Staff wanted it placed in a display case in the children’s department to build readership for fantasy books but alas the dragon’s wings were just too big for the case we had that was empty. The fig was a pain to get to the library because I had to carry the huge box it was shipped in with one hand while I rode my bicycle to work.

The story behind that bike ride was I got a “US post office delivery conformation slip” in the mailbox on Monday because NO one was home. I thought the shipment was a bunch of dragon magazines I had won 2 weeks ago from ebay. The red dragon had only been shipped on Friday and it was not expected for about a week. So I roll down the local post office to pick up my package on Tuesday right before work. I filled out the card in a hurry at the post office, handed it to the teller and then low and behold the teller brought out a box that made ME feel Small[ and I am 6’3” & 335lb. ]. I was in a little trouble cause I was running a little late to get to work as it was and work was a mile away! I literally had to jab my hand into the box for a grip to hold the package steady on my handlebars. I wound up being only 2 minutes late.

What really scares my players is I have another copy of this model kit at home that I can now be creative with.

How does Draco-teuthis sound? A colossal squid headed dragon…how Kawaii! [cute]

Not too often you find a mini for a collosal great wyrm. If you realy want one keep your eyes on ebay, i hav seen at least 3 this year.

Now the Warduke figure takes me back <g>.. I still have the little elf and the Wizard (who was pictured on all the D&D figure packages, and later on most Ral Partha miniature packaging) around here somewhere.

Very cool ...did you say you had 2???

yeah, but the other one has No right front leg just a second left front leg. I will build it like it was merging from a rock formation it was disguised as[Dragonheart] to make up for this. ither that ro i will make a tendril arm if i go with the dracothulhu idea.
