D&D General Red Wavy Lines

Module: DDAL05-16, Siege of Parnast, specifically Spine Ripper's Den. I'll try to add a pic. Thank you all very much.
Hello,

I do not know that particular module, but it is an organized play one if I am not mistaken, and from the 5E era.

I would interpret those red lines as being curtains or drapes of some sort in the room to make the cave a bit more comfortable. Is there not anything in the room description about what is in area 6? That might help you with some context.

Cheers :)

Nah, the room doesn't give any help with a description there.

I'd agree that they're probably some hanging leather or cloth to help give the room privacy, since it's the lair.

Thanks for the text @Distracted DM

I agree. Looks like a case of the artist for the map and the author of the module and/or the editor of the module were not communicating well. I would still go with drapes, or since this appears to be an orc lair, maybe they are hanging furs or something? Crude tapestries?

Cheers :)

Maybe the descriptors were cut for length, or the map-maker and designer weren't on the same page. It's Adventurer's League, Jake.

Here's more context that doesn't seem to help, because pelts making up a crude tent is described but not pictured in area 3.

My guess: the map was made first and the adventure was fit to it afterwards.

Man, seeing those descriptions compared to the map it is almost like a totally random map that happened to contain the right number of rooms was selected to go with the module, no matter whether the descriptions fit or not.

Cheers :)

Those look to me like they could be curtains or cloths hung on the wall and strung between posts (like a privacy screen), or some kind of energy field or magic wall. What does the room description say?

I mean, this is an Adventurers' League module we're talking about here. Shoestring budget. Smell of an oily rag. That sort of thing.
