Redoing MM monster mechanic choices

I'd like to see all of the dragons taken down about 20 notches. Thier power level compared to everything else is ludicrous. When Pit Fiends, Balors, and Solars are dwarfed in power by the bigger dragons, there's something wrong.

i don't have a problem with that. the game i've been playing is called Dungeons & Dragons, after all, not Dungeons & Outsiders.

Most are made as if all their Hit dice gain their full Int bonus in skill points.
