Removing Some of the Top-Heavy Elements of Classes

I think the classes are just fine the way they are.

Ive never had a need to mangle them.

Of course I mean that in the most polite way possible.

And it was important for you to post this, in a thread in the house rules because....? I'm not really interested in hearing that opinion, I doubt people post their ideas here to hear from all those who don't want to tinker with things, or like them "just the way they are." That opinion isn't really contributing to the discussion at hand in any meaningful way.

In the nicest way possible, please refrain from posting such a non-opinion on this subject, in these threads.

Tactfully said, and I whole-heartedly agree. dante58701, you must understand that we have a House Rules section here because people want to muck around in d20 crunch and fiddle with everything possible - that's the point! There was a thread a while back discussing this in House Rules which you might want to take a peek at. Just sayin'.

I was going to say something, but I was *smart* today and am just going to report him. Airwalkrr, I suggest you simply do the same, and opt to edit out your post (trust me dude, I've done it before )

EDIT: (sigh, so much for not saying anything) And dante, saying something like "oh well, the mods just play favourites anyways" is just *asking* to be called on. And when judgements comes down on you, and you get called out for trolling and trying to shoot down a board member, the forums themselves and the mods that keep it sane around here, don't try to say "see, I told you so" - because you asked for it. It's actually a pretty simple concept, really.

With all due respect, when you want to contribute something constructive, come back.

I just think it's a bit old hearing people whine about a system they took no part in creating. If he wants to make effective changes in the system...he should work for WOTC. He does have some valid ideas...but they primarily consist of a stream of..."this needs fixed"..."that needs fixed"..."lets make this less powerful"..."why do they have this?"..."I dont like this"..."I dont like that". I have yet to see any original thought come out of this guy. Everything he's whining about has been whined about before by about maybe 30 other people. I have yet to see anything positive come out of his ideas or statements...which would be very refreshing. Negativity is such a drag. And...while I realize Im being negative myself...Im being negative about negativity. Sure...doesn't make it a positive...but it's just a suggestion. To balance out the negativity...he should try posting some positive ideas. Or Ideas that are supportive of epic level campaigns or even normal campaigns. He's obsessed with underpowering everything. I go nuts everytime I read his posts, because it's the same stuff over and over again. Please...for the love of whatever...a positive would be nice. and not a sarcastic one either.

I dont think Im asking to much...or am I? Just food for thought...and by the way...I maintain my opinion on that link you posted in this thread...hypocrisy. But enough on that..moderators play favorites here so Im just gonna shut up now before I get in trouble.

[Mod Hat ON]I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't rather tired of some of the griping that has endlessly followed from seemingly every rule and rule change since 3.0 got started. Still, locating points within the rules that detract from the game we want to play is a time honored tradition here and I doubt it's going to stop any time soon. It's allowed and it will, I'm sure, continue.

What is NOT allowed is threadcrapping like this. If you're so bothered by certain people complaining and being "negative" then I suggest you make greater use of the Ignore feature. If you'd rather not do that then I suggest that you avoid alltogether the threads where complaining about the rules is likely.[Mod Hat OFF]
