The issue already starts with the name of the game itself.

Change needs to start right there!

Architectural Features & Lifeforms 6th Ed would also be a unique occasion of remove the "take their stuff" part of the game. It teaches children than tomb robbing and theft is the way to clearly live a better life than the peasants. That's not promoting a good work ethic! The biggest draw of the game will be the replacement of the character sheet : no more equipment (to prevent the concerning tendency to loot exhibited by many groups) ! It will also forego gold (let's end that passé monetary standard!), ability scores (that's ablist), sex (not all people identify by a single gender), name (not all culture assign a unique, unchanging name to someone), proficiency (you wouldn't discriminate against those who couldn't afford education, would you?) and class (Marxists had to be appeased), portrait and description (it's better to err on the side of caution and not let players draw their characters, as they could unknowingly use a stereotype) The resulting game aid, called the Blank Sheet, will be totally safe to use in every social group. It will also be free to print out at home!

Building on this: no stat blocks for goblins, just a section on their culture and some notes on how to change existing stat blocks (ie bandit, cultist, mage) to reflect goblins as opposed to the more generic block (which is presumably human)?

I can see that working, actually. I'm not sure it's really better, but maybe it is.

That seems like sacrificing a core utility of the tool in order to satisfy cultural requirements of the hobby. The books still need to function as a game.

No matter what, DMs need to be able to flip to a given page for a given creature and be able to run that creature more or less immediately without additional page flipping. When running an adventure that says "Goblins (7), see MM p 123" they need to be able to run the game in a reasonable manner. Nobody wants to construct an NPC on the fly. The page flipping (on top of general incompleteness and poor organization) is the whole problem with the NPC section of the MM, and also the primary complaint with spellcasting NPCs.
