OK, the majority prefers iterative attack for the natural weapons. With a +10 BAB, it will get one iterative attack with each attack. So, how many attacks (not including iterative attacks) shall it have?

Should these attacks be in addition to its slam attacks, or take their place? (In other words, shall it form the weapon from the same hand that would normally slam, or does it have additional "weapon-arms", or can it form additional "arms" up to a certain amount?)

3. Because odd numbers are more chaotic! :D

BTW, why would it ever bother to do a Slam, if it can attack with any weapon at the same bonuses? We should either do away with the Slam, or give it some extra benefits.

Slam for bludgeoning damage, whereas the other weapon is probably piercing (for the precise strike bonus). Plus, slam probably does more damage than most light or 1-handed piercing weapons of its size.

I thought we were going with "variable" natural/manufactured weapons? Don't see why it couldn't generate a greatclub if it wants to do Bludeoning damage. Or a warhammer if we stick with one-handed weapons. It'd be fun to allow it to use two "arms" (i.e. two of its natural weapon attacks) for two-handed melee wepoans.

We did say variable, but not whether it was "any imaginable weapon" variable or selected from a small list, etc.

Option #5: Variable natural weapons, such as "sword-arms or gear-chains" that may have additional abilities, such as bonuses to trip, disarm, etc., and may be used for iterative attacks.

Personally, I'd prefer to see it limited to a few odd things, like the suggested gear-chains, than having it produce say a warhammer or a longspear. But since its creature-by-poll, that will be put to a vote. ;)

Also, slam tied manufactured weapons in the weaponry poll, so it will need to remain a viable option (either by limiting the other weaponry or granting it additional damage or other qualities).

if it wants to conduct a normal grapple, it can slam.

i'm not sure. are we giving it two arms normally? i'd say the weapons stick out of it on extra "arms" with weapons at the end. say it punches with two slams, then it shoots a dagger out of the middle and catches you by surprise.

I wouldn't even give it any real "arms". No discernable anatomy of any kind - just a whirling mass of gears and slivers and other metal bits.

This too, will need to be decided. I'd personally like it to be relatively man-shaped, like the inevitables, but I know that some of you want it to be as little like the inevitables as possible. ;)
