"I can make you Invisible, or if you're already sneaky enough, I could cast Major Image and make an Illusion of you staying here."
I know, but its still on the device so he must still be using something. Or is the idea that he just grasps the staff and for some reason doing that gives him access to a load of extra spells.[/sblock]Rystil Arden said:(OOC: Not using the mirror or scrying--he has a different ESP power called Clairvoyance that just works with no medium like the normal ESP (but has a shorter range)
Velmont said:"Next exit, I go to a gas station. I go buy something to eat and dirnk and come back into the car. Martin, you turn invisible Clay and make your illusion while. Clay get out of the car and we go back on road. Clay, you'll try to follow our followers. You'll sty in communication with out coomlink. Sounds that good with everyone?" asks Sergeant.
Um No. Martin is attempting to spot someone who is tailing him. Explained in detail under Stealth. ESP will let him do it with out turning around but it is not going to change the nature of the check.[/sblock]Rystil Arden said:Also, he's not using Notice--the skill for this case according to the ESP description is Search, since he searches the given area. He's much better at that (though admittedly still not wonderful so I understand if that's still too low--that's why with my non-sidekick who has ESP, I gave her a Search bonus in the same part of the array as ESP)
[Sblock=Someone]Plan looks fine to me, although I really wouldn't recommend trying to hang upside down underneath a moving car. :> I think that would be at least a DC25 climb check (probably one every time they took a corner). (Morphing into a hook gets the form but not the function) Using corrosion is noticeable by default so it might get spotted but Clay is pretty stealthy.[/sblock]
Rystil Arden said:-his plan is to methodically search the entire field of cars behind them one by one until he finds each one with the correct description,
GM Post 112 said:Martin scans around again and spots about a dozen cars in the busy traffic which seem to fit Clay's description. He really can't be sure which one is following them.
ra said:Then look at everyone inside those cars and memorise their features with Eidetic Memory (and of course, if one of them is full of vampires or hooded men or something, he notes that too). He might get a bunch of wrong cars too this way, but Mental Quickness should let him do the search relatively quickly.
