"Local super villains were of course our first thought" Answers Peter, "Unfortunately there are not many around. It is a fairly quiet area. The Delivery Brothers have had a few run ins with a gang of local street thugs. The Snakes, their leader Cobra may well be a super powered individual. It is hard to tell, but his level of success and the rate the Snakes are growing suggest he is. However for now, at least, he is strictly small time. It is also unlikely that he would hire in outsiders to do the dirty work; it is far more likely that the gang would keep the job in house in order to increase their reputation.

"There are a few unsolved crimes, bank robberies and such which have been blamed on super criminals, of course that might just be an excuse to explain why no one has been arrested yet. The facts that package is being transferred to the airport and that the individual concerned considered hiring in staff with local knowledge suggests that he may well not be a local.

As I said it is a fairly sleepy place without much super activity of course all the major super criminals tend to keep the location of their headquarters fairly close to their chests It is quite possible that there are several with country homes in the neighborhood."

Peter looks up to check if their are any further questions before continuing, "I can have the Vigilant cleared to take off in a little over ninety minutes. If you gentlemen and lady have nothing further you want to settle here, I suggest you gather your things. And head down to the hanger."

[sblock=OOC]Postcode for Akbar's shop is LS1 6AW which should get you any number of maps eg. Multimap

Post code for the airport is LS19 7TU again Multimap

The best photo I have found is [needs attaching] (Obviously I changed the name. The jewelers is not the shop you can see on the left it is up three flights of stairs above an employment agency.)[/sblock]

"Fine, let's speak with Mr Akbar first." tells Sergeant, following Paladin. "I think we should make a stop by the pub we stop there in our first trip. They had a good choice of beer and a good atmosphere." he tells to Paladin on teh way to teh Vigilent.

"I'll keep Scrying on Akbar and the shop while we fly over there--I just hope they don't count my mirror as a signal transmitting device that we can only use during take-off and taxi!" Martin offers.

Clay's preparations consist on changing the appareance of his uniform, so now it looks like he's wearing an average-looking suit; he takes some timeto check the details and make sure everything's ok. Now he's perfectly bland.

Everyone gathers at the Vigilant and very soon it is in the air on the short trip across the Atlantic. Martin watches Akbar go about his business in the little mirror, dealing with customers and working on a necklace in his workshop. It gets boring very quickly. The others review the information they have been given and relax.

A little over an hour later the vigilant is on the ground at Heathrow. They are met by a young Scot in a business suit who whisks the Resolutes through customs and security. He is very efficient, but is quite obviously some kind of salesman or PR guy whose main interest is in telling the Resolutes how great the UK is and why it would be the perfect place for their European HQ. He seems convinced that the team are here on a fact finding mission to scout possible locations.

OOC - And I guess you are driving at this point. I am happy if you want to back track and make plans during the flight, change the landing point or whatever.

(OOC: When Martin sees the necklace, he memorises it so that he can use it as a Scrying target later. He also checks to see if he knows anything about it--Knowledges are at least +7 (+11 for remembering things) and at most for Arcane stuff +20 (+24 for remembering things), with a lot of intermediate numbers for Theology/Philosophy, History, Pop Culture, etc )
