Ring of Anti-hold person?

The cleric in my game is interested in making a ring of "anti-hold person" for the party fighter. Before you say "ring of freedom of movement", we know that's there, but he is interested in a ring that just negates hold person. Any thoughts how I could do the prereqs and cost for this ring in a reasonable fashion?

Base it on a counter-spelled Hold Person.

suggestions -

spell immunity - straight up.

DIRECT spell = desired effect relationship

Although that could do more than just one spell...
hmm - maybe the party fighter wants to be immune to enveneration or fireball as well?

Remove Paralysis could be a good spell to start with.
If it only works against Hold effects it would be rather cheap, 2000gp?

Make it work only for fighters. That will reduce the price by 30%

Isn't there a spell in the DMG called something like "Ring of Counterspells" that basicly automatically couterspells 1 spell?

EDIT : [Changed Ring of Spell Storing to Ring of Counterspells. Hehe oops. ]

The problem with ring of counterspells is that it is requires spell turning, the cleric is only 12th level who wants to make this ring. Also, the counterspells ring is only usable 1/day.
