Rini vs. Gorm Twoface (Rini lost, Gorm won)

OOC: Thanks for judging, Kalanyr!

BIC: After kicking Rini a good distance, Gorm grabs a small tree growing close by and uproots it with one arm, seemingly without effort. The ogre shakes the tree at his opponent, grinning maliciously.

Then, with a mighty heave and grunt, he hurls the trunk at Rini. The wildly spinning beam appears to blot out the sun as its shadow descends upon her.

The tree flies higher than the heavens; shreds the throw of the lightbeam!

::Rini crouches and leaps, and flies easily over the trunk. She then focuses some negative energy into a ball and throws it at her opponent. It smashes into Gorm Twoface, wounding him and crushing his rising spirits.::

~The toad flies across the knoll; parts the rising of the spirit!~

I would have posted yesterday, but my computer wouldn't load and I was afraid of double posting. So I ended up with nothing at all and a crappier move to boot. Bleh.

Soth watches the moves carefully. His eyes narrow and he shakes his head in disgust...

"Both moves are weak offensively while powerful in the defense. But common sense would dictate that a tree flying higher than the Heavens would quickly run out of air. Therefore - "

Point Rini - Two Flags Neutral

OOC: Sorry - this one got lost on my desk... :( - my bad.

A-hem. It is forgiven MidKnight.

::Rini bows to the judge and rises summoning a firey sword from the air. The sword lunges at Gorm Twoface, looking like it's going to slice off the top of his hellish heads. Meanwhile, the sword also seems to be sucking in the light from the surrounding area...::

~The sword slashes the top of the hells, absorbs the cut of the lightbeam!~

Much better! It seems that my luck is changing.

OOC: Don't praise your luck until you see my move!

BIC: "Fiery sword, huh? Well, I got this!"

Gorm brandishes half a human thighbone , which ends in a nasty looking point. Apparently, he got this makeshift kama from the graveyard he looted for bones.

The ogre tries to stab Rini's eye out, but his heart isn't in it: the flaming weapon aimed at his head requires too much attention. He ducks under the blade and mumbles, as if to convince himself:

"Just like bamboo practice sword..."

The kama swims from the cemetery; dodges the beauty of the bamboo!

OOC: Feel free to praise your luck now;)

"I believe it is my turn to judge now. Hmm a sword will not survive long slashing the top of hell and the heat the blade would have from this does little against something completely emerged in water."

Round Gorm!

1 Flag Gorm 1 Flag Neutral

After scratching Rini's face with his crude weapon, Gorm's unkempt head howls triumphantly, like a wolf greeting the full moon. His twin's snide remark is hard to understand over the noise:

"Careful, this could be infectious! Who knows where this bone has been:p But maybe, you don't have to worry about that for long..."

Unwilling to waste precious time, the ogre jumps forward to trample Rini into the ground.

"A hole! That's all that's going to be left of you, witch!"

Apparently, Gorm is more confident now and believes that his thick hide will protect him from Rini's incessant blows, for he cares little about his defense.

The wolf brutalizes the ravine; shields the pain of the river!

OOC: Was there a request for a judge in a chat room perhaps?? I have been watching for Gorm's move...

Rini isn't even around until about 8 hrs from now.

OOC: No request that I am aware of. Probably just the thread title. But Kalanyr helped out as judge once before, and I suppose he didn't realize that you still consider yourself "official" judge. Most slow matches I have been in (most of my matches, actually) had a couple of judges, sometimes with longer delays while searching for a new one.

I really appreciate that you check back regularly:) But we have also accepted Kalanyr as judge before, so I won't object now. Thanks to both of you!
