Something else to be done with knockout if you're willing to give up some of the thunder and don't want to burn the action point
Delay until after your victim, take him down, and follow with Sneak in the Attack. Your fighter/ranger/warlord/whatever buddy hits with his biggest attack plus your sa dice, all maxed.
Against solos, i like this to set up Lead the Attack since our warlord can't seem to hit anything, and now i get a reroll with an action point.
Of course, as was said above, Low Slash works as well (though you give up SA on the original hit), as does an AP plus Slaying Action (regain SA with AP for extra attack).
I'm trying to decide whether to go with Bloodiron or Footpad's Friend (add Charism with SA) for my dodger since the return for the FF, IMO, is slightly better in the long run though less spikey. Two levels higher magic weapon though.
