Roles within a party...

Wizards should probably have Reconaissance. Scrying, clairs, arcane eye, and some more make very good reconaissance spells. They can't do it often or suffer in other areas, but if given a day to find something out, you can bet the wizard is going to find out.

That was included under Support Magic.

Sorcerer have to choose carefully which spells to use, and are better off choosing spells that can be cast repeatedly (generally, boom spells). But yeah, I should probably add Support Magic to the Sorcerer, since they can always pick up scrolls and wands of appropriate utility spells.

A sorcerer can pick an attack and defense spell at every level and still have spells left over. They easily have enough spells to pick up a support role. They may only be able to assist in certain areas - they might have scrying and mobility, but no buffs (or vice versa), but they have strong support abilities.

In fact, because attack spells are limited by the sorcerer's number of combat actions, it's unwise to go overboard with them. If the sorcerer fights 3 times a day for 5 rounds each, he can employ 15 attack spells total. So even if he doesn't use the same spell more than once, it's not very useful to have more than 15 different attacks.

Wizards who Scry aren't really support, I think. Support seems to be in-battle. Otherwise, it's a gray area between Support and Reconaissance.
