Round One is OVER

But it's not like all the +2/+2 skill feats and Skill Focus aren't on their way out either. Instead of tons of random skill feats in 3.5, you'd think WotC could have just done the following:

Skillful - Choose any two skills. You recieve a +2 bonus for each skill. This feat may be taken multiple times, but does not stack with itself.

Bam. Saved two pages of feats right there.

Amen. Those are a complete waste. Reduce them to one. Make the designers earn their pay. Faerun books are filled with them.

Improved Unarmed Strike [general]

I've never seen anyone who hasn't taken a level or few in Monk have this, and there generaly isn't a reason to. It exists for the same reason the Armor Proficiency feats do, and even those can be more usefull in certain situations.

Also, Most of the +2 skill feats are very low on the totem pole, I just felt they almost weren't worth voting for individualy.

Rapid Shot
I'm going to defend rapid shot. It allows even a low level char to get multiple attacks with a bow (Or a light crossbow with rapid reload), gives increased flexibility much like fury of blows, and makes being an archer a fairly attractive option. Not saying that it's the end all, be all of feats, but it's certaintly not a first round ouster.

I've noted that and I may do something about it, but not for a few rounds. I'll see how it all pans out first.

CRAFT ROD [ITEM CREATION]

For the same reason as spunkrat. And rods, well, because I like to give the shaft as much as I get it.

BREW POTION
Because I hate any spell or feat where there is an associated XP cost.

What the hell is everybody's problem with toughness? It does what it's supposed to do, and it does it well.

If you want massive gobs of Hitpoints, don't take toughness, take a level in barbarian.

Toughness is for making your first-level elven wizards able to survive. And it does that well. My vote's for Forge Ring
