Gurney Halleck
First Post
Recovering from another Nod-off, Gurney notices the tavern emptied, and a portal leading where the Gods know where. He fetched up his longsword and slung his baliset over his shoulder, leaping into the portal...
Into a tumble leading directly into a large pile of gold, which buries him due to his disturbance. Recovering, he peeked up through the pile like a Prairie Dog and spews a few gold coins out of his mouth, though he has one is somehow lodged between his teeth.
"Hey guys, free gold!" said Gurney through clenched teeth while he faced the crowd, who all stared bewildered at him.
Cocking an eyebrow, smile still shining, his crystal-eyes scanned the room calmly- that is, until he sighted the spectacular Dragon. He shrieked, spat out the coin, and jumped back out of the pile. He scooped up his hat, made himself presentable, and gave a humble bow.
"My most sincere apologies, I dearly hope I didn't disturb anything... well, not too much, hopefully. If you mean me well, the name is Gurney Halleck. If not, then they call me Till Sandydowns."
