This definitely interests me, but I'm a little leery. Last time I was involved in an EN World Book Club I ended up paying good money for Dragondoom. This time around, if it's something I'm interested in or maybe was planning on buying anyway, I'll definitely participate.

Cool idea.

Well, that one if I recall was novels and not RPG so there is that difference. But I can't promise the books will be good. Even books I like I know others will not. But if it makes you feel any better I'll be spending good money on these books right along with you. ;)

Cost will be an issue so I think books that are on the expensive side will not be picked. I'm hoping there is a PDF option for most of the books and that can be a little cheaper.

It's all good, just this time I'm going to be more selective in my participation. ;)

I like the idea, a lot. It'll just be a matter of balancing these RPG purchases with um. . . other preordained RPG purchases, as it so happens. :o Oh yeah, and life stuff. :D

But I'm definitely curious.

As long as the books aren't going to be £5 one month and then £35 the next, sure... Sounds a laugh. I also think some older books mixed in would be good.

I don't expect many people to be involved each month. The 4e guys probably won't be involved when a 3.x product is picked and vice versa. And both groups could very much ignore a non d20 product. So, as this goes on month after month a wide variety of products will first be selected to see what things people enjoy and talk about.

Or if all else fails I'll pick something from my pile of ENnie entries. But I'd prefer some suggestions to see what types of books people are interested in for this.
