G'day!

There are many weird and confusing things about RPG, so I thought we could consolidate our knowledge in this thread.

Ask questions, provide answers - I'll see if I can keep the first post updated with a combined list.

Character Creation

What is "Limit Break"?

In battles, when you are badly damaged, a more powerful attack becomes available. You can change what this ability is called by entering it in the "Limit Break" field in the "Your Character" section.

Money

How do you get more money?

Either by taking a job (go to the "Jobs" menu item in RPG), or by posting. Currently you get 5 gp per post.

Why aren't I gaining any interest on my money in the bank?

Interest acruement takes 24 hours from your last transaction. So, everytime you withdraw or deposit money, it resets back to 24 hours.

Why am I not amassing money for all my posts?

You only start receiving money for posts after you have created your character.

I'm sure I'll come up with others later.

Why doesn't my armor or weapon help me?

Armor and weapons and magic items must be equiped. Goto your inventory page and choose equip item fro.....whichever shop you got your item at.

Do we heal over time?

That's a question for someone else to answer.

How do I use summons?

Go to the "Manage Summon" page, and then choose to scan (the magnifying glass) one. Likely the only one available at the time is Wraith. You can then cast it, for 100 MP, during battle. You can also buy upgrades for your summons.

You know there's a FAQ in the RPG menu, called RPG Help which answers all questions asked here except one ? Which is the do we heal over time one ? (Which these poor 0 HP person would love to know).

Why does this milk taste funny?

The milk may have turned. Best to get a younger sibling to try it first before taking the chance drinking yourself. Being young, they will have a much better chance of surviviing any horrific affects associated with consuming spoiled liquids such as bad milk. If they gag or simply make a sour face, leave the milk in the fridge for someone else to discover and drink the mountain dew instead. Mountain dew never goes bad, even when it is flat.

It's not that useful. It certainly didn't answer my first question (which was "what do I put in this Limit Break field?")

Fair enough, I'd already played Final Fantasy so I had a fair idea what it was.

Edit- Which reminds me with my change to the Supreme element of Fire I need to go change my limit break name.
