RS2: The Tokyo Problem (Velmont Judging)

[SBLOCK=OOC]Oh, it's also worth noting that since I think someone said the communicators are working upthread, we know everyone is in a rather tight radius.[/SBLOCK]

[sblock=OOC]I believe I said that the Japanese commnicators are working (the ones we got from Kitsune), and we don't know the range of those. We were able to receive on the resolute communicators, but only from the 'transport' which has the boosters built in ... we don't know if they received our return communication. So the range and position of the Japanese base is still almost completely unknown ... except to our GM =D[/sblock]

Gus: The fear from Ichitawa is mostly a fear that that he will fire the guard. Gus can conclude that Ichitawa is not the most forgiving of bosses. The room beyond the guard is another elevator, but this one seems fancier.

Hmm... important looking... Gus thinks. "Up or down is preferable?" Gus asks over his radio, somewhat naively assuming that his teammates know the correct answer. He studies the keypad, looking for a button that seems significant.

"Hi Teleporting Resolute Girl...Bye Teleporting Resolute Girl!" the Japanese schoolgirl waves to Scout.

"Actually, it seems to fill the room with dark ash, that camera. It is bad news. If we go to visit Ichitawa, we should keep the camera somewhere safe where he can't get it back from us...or destroy it."
Titan peers at the camera, his nose crinkling," I say we leave it here. Let's roll, one of the other Resolutes is in a fight, and we're just standin' here."

"Ha! Defenders of justice will never go down without a fight!" Marie shouted out as the smoke started filling the room. Almost gleefully, she moved around the room, expanding the trailing smoke cloud while readying herself for the fight.

The HQ
At Sierra's unexpented arrival Kensai stands, his hand going to the sword at his hip and Kitsune takes a startled step back. As Scout appears, drops off the camera and disappears, Kensai's features betray confusion and he and Kitsune exchange a look. Kensai looks like he is about to say something when <<If your teammate is in danger then go. Unfortunatley I do not know how to use Ronin's device in reverse, Doctor you may be able to figure it out, hai?>> an image of a tall tower in downtown Tokyo appears in the trios' minds, <<That is the tower where your friends are.>>

The Tower
<<*cough* Ack, she is one of them! Damu, Daiku? Whatever your name is get her!>> the man yells at the door, but the samurai behind it apparently does not respond.

As Marie runs around the room, spreading the smoke, he picks up the phone, <<*Cough* Security! This is Inihara get Kioyoshi to get his stupid monster up here moving!>>

In the room Scout can detect two people, one moving and one running around the room.

Gus
Entering the elevator there are many buttons. One stands apart from the others and is labeled the equivilent of "P"

Looking at the device, then the good doctor, Titan says, "Bring it. If it looks like he's going to get his hands on it, I'm trashing it" Titan turns to Sierra, "And away we go."

OOC: I'll be gone for the next several weeks. Look for a return on Oct 18. I might sneak in a few posts before then, but who knows.

"I have a better idea--" the Japanese girl concentrates and transforms the camera into a hair ribbon, tying the ribbon into her hair.

"I doubt he'll be able to use it like this. Doctor-kun, I guess it's up to you now to figure out how to use that device in reverse to bring everyone to Ichitawa Industries," she looks at him with interest.

Archeville's face froze in open-mouthed, wide-eyed horror as he sees Sierra transform the camera into a simple ribbon.

[sblock=Shoulder Daemons]What the hell did she just do? How the hell can we possibly study that camera now?

Oh, calm down, I'm sure she can turn it back.

Turn it back? Turn it back?! How? She may be able to make it look like it once did, but how's she going to re-create the internal components? She didn't even look at those, and even if she did, she's probably too stupid to know how they work!

Oh, don't be so mean! Just because she's... flighty doesn't mean she's stupid. We barely know her, she could be extremely intelligent, and it's all just an act.

Yeah, and Uwe Boll's really a cinematic genius....

Oh, hush. Now, c'mon, snap him out of it, we've got work to do.

Harumph.

Remember what Kensai said? Ronin's teleporter? We're the only ones who can get it to work properly.

......... okay, okay, let's get to it.[/sblock]

"<<Right,>>" he said with a clap, then turned to Kensai & Kitsune, "<<if one of you could show me exactly where Ronin's device is, an access panel, I'll see what I can do!>>"
