I'm happy every time I hear that someone is playing a Serene Blade runepriest!
The campaign started a few months before your article came out, but when it did I quickly went to the DM to change from Defiant Word. I'm playing an aged longtooth shifter, sort of an old wolf full of wisdom though still in touch with his predator side, who's been seeking the words of creation via the runic fragments embedded from when the world was made. While the homebrew world doesn't have Kara-Tur in it, we were easily able to thematically bring it in the world.
