I didn't have a problem with B2 nor WPM space-wise in 3E

It's odd. You're not the only person to say this, and I believe it, but... At the same time, I'm building B2 in the Roll20 online gaming system, and once I get done adding all the furniture and other furnishings that the book describes, some of the rooms are really crowded. It'll be interesting to see how it finally plays out.

Some are difficult terrain, some block movement, some can be leaped on, some provide cover...again this can make things more interesting.
